Architecture is bigger than itself these days. Each public project now considers and responds to constituencies that are magnitudes of size greater than its traditional “user” audience. With projects projecting into the city, and reshaping the atmosphere of daily life, architecture is responsible to organize its interior and reconsider its public exterior identity as something entirely bigger than its programmatic expression.
Our proposal situates itself within this new performative role for architecture. But expressing itself with a slippery volume of curves surfaces, the project projects itself as a new character and participant in street life, while providing excitement for its interior organization.
